Start the year right as you introduce the library and review book care skills with this editable library orientation unit for five (5) second grade library classes.
The teacher-librarian provides the live read-aloud, creates a read-aloud video to embed in the slides, or provides an ebook with audio read-aloud features. After listening to the book or watching the book video, students complete the response activity on the next slide.
This library orientation unit is completely editable in Google Slides, and includes:

IMPORTANT! Due to copyright law, read-aloud videos of the picture books are NOT included. You will have to record yourself reading each book, or do a live stream of the read-alouds for students to access the book. If your library owns the ebooks with audio read-aloud support, you could also share how to read or access them through your ebook management platform.
