Description
These editable read-aloud activities make it easy for kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classes to learn about how authors and illustrators work together to create a book.
The teacher-librarian reads aloud one of the 8 picture book recommendations, and after listening to the story, students check out books and complete one of the activities for the rest of library class.

- Activity #2 – Students write the names and jobs of the author and illustrator (half-page, 2 per letter-size paper)
- Activity #3 – Students cut and paste the labels to an image of the book cover. (full page, letter-size paper)
