Frequently Asked Questions:

My district doesn’t use Google Workspace. Can you design a library website like this one using LibGuides, Gale Pages Studio, WordPress, whatever-software-my-district-provides, etc.?
Yes, I can work with almost any website making software. Let’s chat in a free 30-minute consult to discuss what you’re looking for in your custom library website, and I will send you a custom quote.

Why is my district PO quote higher than the price on this page?
The price you see on this page reflects the “self-pay” option for teacher-librarians, which I deeply discount so that more teacher-librarians can afford this service. Directly paying me saves money for both you and me.

Quite simply, it costs time and money to work with the school district PO process. Districts usually don’t pay for products and services upfront. They often pay after receiving the items, or after services begin. The purchase order quote reflects those extra costs.

Technology requirements:

  • Your school or district MUST allow students to access published Google Sites in order for your new library website to be viewed!
    • If your school or district uses Google Workspace, (formerly GSuite or Google Apps for Education) for Gmail, Google Drive, etc., then this isn’t usually a problem, but you should still check first before purchasing.
    • To check this, create a blank Google Site and publish it. Share the URL of the published, blank site and see if students can access it. You may also want to try accessing the blank site from home to make sure it works outside of your district.
  • After purchasing, you will download a PDF file with directions for scheduling your website set-up time.

This was 100% worth it. Collette had a template already set up and it was ready to go within an hour. It saved me a ton of time and looks professional. I would definitely recommend this if you don’t already have a website!
